Double Trouble for Greeks as Robin Hood Does it Again

helicopter2 Double Trouble for Greeks as Robin Hood Does it Again

Vassilis Paleokostas is making the headlines in Greece again.

If you’re not aware this modern day Greek Robin Hood and hero of the people has made a second helicopter escape from a prison, just one day before he was due to appear in court for his FIRST helicopter prison escape.

Local Hero

Known in Greece as “The Phantom”, stories are still circulating about this legend, who apparently, in an earlier kidnap incident gave thousands of Euros to a poor local farmer, saying he “didn’t expect to see him with a horse next time he saw him.”

Victims of previous kidnappings state that Paleokostas was very kind and respectful to them.

Police apparently received tip-offs about the escape but weren’t expecting Paleokostas to be audacious enough to escape by helicopter after the first debacle.

They fired at the aircraft as it left, without result, although one officer did shoot himself.

Cheers could be heard from the prison as Paleokostas flew away. Again.

We’re offering odds on how long it will take for him to be captured again!
