The rumours of new housemates arriving to stir things up and boost ratings are doing the rounds again. According to the Daily Star, four new housemates could be set to enter the house as early as the 17th July to coincide with the show’s birthday celebrations.
This week sees five of the housemates, some of them the most popular, up for eviction, which will add another dimension the house when one of them leaves on Friday night.
If Kris or Dogface leaves this week, it would put a real spin on things in the house. How would they cope without each other? Will they pine or simply, move on? Noirin has been expressing an interest in new men entering the house; could new housemates be just what she and the show need?
Speculation is building within the house over who may leave this week, Dogface and Karly seem to be secretly hoping Marcus will be subject to the public eviction. Meanwhile, Kris is concerned Dogface could be evicted for being too quiet. She has even dreamt about being evicted!
The circus task continues within the house, with Karly and Kris undertaking the tight rope challenge. Kris successfully held his balance strong and made it across the rope on his first attempt.
However, it was not quite so easy for Karly. Just as Big Brother signalled the start of the task, she was bothered by a wasp that put her off, having landed on her head. She tried to carry on and complete the crossing but did not quite make it across.
Fortunately, Big Brother allowed her to try again and this time she went on to successfully complete the balancing act, minus the wasp.
Charlie then entertained the group when his unicycle challenge commenced, having to ride over a bridge spanning the swimming pool. Despite putting on a brave face, he was unable to cross the bridge and narrowly escaped a dunking, which amused the housemates standing by laughing and cheering.
The remaining housemates are still to complete their tasks.
