Following Kenneth’s escape yesterday, Big Brother has shocked many fans by cancelling the public vote-off this week. Whilst, voters can claim their money back by sending evidence of the phone charges, many have felt annoyed by the decision which would have seen another housemate leaving tonight.
In the past, such as in Big Brother 9 and Big Brother 6 when housemates have walked, the vote has gone ahead regardless. Opinion has been strongly voiced on many a forum with some even saying it has been cancelled to keep the Tom, Marcus and Noirin triangle going for a week longer. Although there is much speculation, Big Brother has yet to justify its decision.
Kenneth was the bookies favourite to leave anyway this week, closely followed by Marcus and Noirin. Even though Kenneth walked, he will be interviewed by Davina this evening on Channel 4 as confirmed by her Twitter post from last night @ThisisDavina: “so, tomorrow I will be interviewing Ken…it’ll be good… really want to grill him…”
Tom has hinted to Noirin and Siavash that he is considering leaving the house too, claiming he did not come on the programme to be pictured or use it to boost his career. He doesn’t seem to like many of the housemates and has grown tired of the happy-clappy family thing.
We wonder if it is because he has caught wind of the Siavash and Noirin snog? Yes, that’s right; a reliable source has told us that whilst Marcus was locked in a cage in the garden in punishment for helping Kenneth escape, the pair indulged in a kiss and hug. Whilst Marcus did not see, Siavash is concerned as to how he will react if he finds out.
So, the triangle appears to have quickly changed shape to now incorporate: Tom, Marcus, Siavash and Noirin. Will there be fireworks to come?
