Inter Milan’s Great Form Set To Continue
There’s no stopping Inter Milan. Playing their neighbours AC Milan last Sunday, they thrashed them 2-0 at home. This win now stretches their lead to 9 points.
Inter’s next Serie A game follows on Sunday away to Parma, who were themselves thrashed 3-0 by a resurgent Catania.
While this win for the 3rd from bottom team is welcome, it hasn’t really affected their position. Similarly, Parma also seem stuck in the middle of the table; they are in 12th place on 29 points.
On paper, a Parma versus Inter match should see a convincing win for Inter Milan. However, mid table teams seem fixated on draws between themselves, getting beat by the top teams or beating those at the bottom. This means the mid table is tight with little change.
As such, if Inter take their foot off the gas Parma could sneak a draw out of the game. If not, an Inter Milan win is the likeliest outcome.

Coppa Italia Predictions: AS Roma V Catania
As for Catania, they take on Roma tonight in the Quarter Final of the Coppa Italia.
This will be a very interesting match. Without a doubt an ecstatic Roma and resurgent Catania should produce some fireworks. There may be a great difference in Serie A positions between these two, but in cup matches that won’t matter one jot.
What will matter is which of the teams wants to win more. Catania know they could be out of Serie A if they don’t improve their own position but will the lure of a possible semi final outing take precedence.
Roma on the other hand are a whisker away from leapfrogging over Milan. A win tonight for Roma would be a great boost to their belief but may also prove too much.
On this occasion through, bet on a win for Roma at 1.45 to progress to the Coppa Italia Semi-finals.
