Leaked photos of England’s new away football top have made it on to the internet over the past week.
While unconfirmed, it would seem the new all red (with white arm trim) England football top is going to resemble the top worn by England’s 1966 World Cup winners.
Manufacturers Umbro could not have foreseen the leaks, nor the sacking of John Terry who features on promotional photos for the away football shirt – like above.
Designer Aitor Throup said: “The way that we’re involving the players and the manager now is quite revolutionary in itself, and so far it’s gone really well, both the players and Fabio Capello have been making the decisions with us, so it’s really exciting.”
Umbro have described the new design as “conceptual and technological”,
The New England Away top is set for launch Wednesday February 10 (On-sale March 3).
